As the leading soil carbon solutions provider in Western Australia, we are thrilled to announce the approval of a $42 million state-of-the-art Carbon Recycling Facility in Keralup, Shire of Murray.
The facility will accept a range of organic materials for composting, including Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) from kerbside collections in the Perth and Peel regions, as mandated by the State Government’s Waste Avoidance and Resource Recovery Strategy 2030.
Recognising the importance of the proposal, C-Wise was successful in obtaining funding for the construction of the facility from both the State and Federal governments through the Food Waste for Healthy Soils Fund.
This groundbreaking project is a testament to our commitment to driving sustainable development.
A special shoutout to our exceptional consultant team Altus Planning as their expertise was instrumental in bringing this project to life.
In a rapidly expanding city, waste recovery and recycling are crucial components of a sustainable future. This Carbon Recycling Facility will play a pivotal role in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting a circular economy.
