composting systems
mobile aerated floor (maf)
The MAF composting system offers the ideal blend of simplicity and effectiveness Its straightforward design ensures reliability and ease of use, crucial factors in composting operations. By providing continuous control over oxygen levels, the MAF system optimises the composting process, surpassing the capabilities of traditional compost turners that rely on daily adjustments. Discover how the MAF system can enhance your composting efficiency and results.
MAF – A SUPERCHARGER FOR MICROBES.
Organic wastes are still a greatly underused resource. The vast majority still goes into landfill, where we bury carbon that could be enriching soils. C-Wise have been doing their part to intercept these organic wastes, but there is only so much that one business can do. In order to help spread organic waste recycling, we support businesses, government and communities by supplying complete composting solutions based around the MAF composting system.
MAF represents a cost effective and simple solution that provides a viable entry into composting for new operations, and allows existing composters to increase the efficiency and quality of their production systems.
C-Wise values the MAF system so highly that we use MAF for all of our compost processes.
WHY WE USE MAF:
MAF Composting Systems redefine composting by offering minute-to-minute control of oxygen levels, unlike traditional turners that operate on a daily basis. Our electrically driven and computer-controlled fans ensure optimal aeration, resulting in faster composting times and superior quality products.
The MAF Composting System is also modular, scalable, mobile, and flexible providing operational advantages and low-cost expansion options.
The modular construction means that it is easy to add capacity to systems as the needs grow. The system is scalable to cope with very large volumes.
The mobility is perfect where sites must be relocated (e.g. around landfills, quarries, farms or on leased property) and the flexibility allows operators to develop innovative ways of improving processes and efficiency.
Compared to alternatives, the C-Wise system uses significantly less area, less power and reduces machine movements. These factors reduce capital and operating costs at the same time as improving process control.
C-Wise use MAF technology to process more than 100,000 tonnes per/annum of various organic waste feedstocks including GO, FOGO, Manure, Sludges and Liquid Wastes. C-Wise are experienced in the design, construction, and commissioning of composting facilities. More information can be found at www.cwise.com.au and a video demonstrating the process at our site is available at https://youtu.be/kJhVSeIrj48
