Humicarb (ACO)

Application
Humicarb is a concentrated soil amendment that improves soil performance at very low rates of application in commercial crops and is safe to use at higher rates in urban landscape applications. The product is designed to be broadcast through a conventional belt spreader and incorporated into the soil before planting or banded direct into the planting row for more targeted results. For smaller treatment areas, Humicarb can be spread and incorporated manually before planting.

Commercial Growers
In broadacre crops, pastures and inter row applications, a topdressing of Humicarb at 1-5m3/ha stimulates plant roots and beneficial soil biology that builds soil carbon and provides natural suppression of pests and disease. Timing of application in late autumn or early spring before rain will provide the best results. In production horticulture, Humicarb can be broadcast at up to 20m3/ha and incorporated at bed preparation to maintain soil performance and disease suppression or can be precision banded into the planting row at 5-10m3/ha to create a powerful growing medium. Professional Landscaping
Humicarb is a versatile labour saving soil builder that can be used at very low rates to establish sustainable gardens and turf or can be safely used at higher rates for exotic plants and vegetables. For garden beds, new turf and general landscaping, spread a 5-10mm thick layer of Humicarb across soil surface and incorporate to a depth of 50-100mm, then water thoroughly before planting. For individual plants, shrubs and trees, mix 1 part Humicarb with 10 parts original soil and use as a planting mix around root zone. As a potting mix ingredient, blend Humicarb at up to 25% of soil mix volume to significantly improve fertility and water holding capacity.
