FCHR stands for FORTIFIED COMPOST HIGH RAINFALL is a flagship product for C-Wise. Developed and manufactured at our Nambeelup, WA Facility.

Fortified Compost offers a fully pasteurised, mature compost base which is fortified using nutrient enriched and readily available Nitrogen through C-Wise Liquid Compost Extract. The aim of this product is to strike a balance between offering organic carbon while maximising the nutrients in one product. The result is that it allows optimisation of haulage and delivery in one pass application.

FCHR is ideal for broadening the scope of use in pastures and horticultural crops like wheat, canola and other broad acre cereal crops. FCHR 80 also has superior water-holding capacity which supports drought tolerant varieties during prolonged dry periods. It’s also a great solution for organic producers who require a nutrient boost to improve yields. C-Wise FCHR Compost is a powerful fortified compost designed to add nutrients into broadacre crops whilst adding valuable soil carbon to the ground that promotes rapid plant growth and improves soil health and fertility for better crop resilience and productivity. FCHR 80 nourishes crops with readily available nutrients and stable organic carbon. This stimulates soil microbial activity, promoting soil health and optimal functionality.

The product is free flowing, uniform, nutrient rich soil conditioner with bulk-density and moisture content optimised for application using standard spreading equipment. C-Wise Fortified Compost is for situations where high nutrient levels are desired with a compost carbon base to help build soil organic matter.

benefits

Biology
Compost promotes healthier soils to build a better environment to build biology through the addition of organic soil carbon

Can demonstrate an economic benefit to the grower on a nutrients basis.
Nutrients
Fortified compost using nutrient enriched and readily available source of nitrogen which forms part of a broadacre nutrient program.
Water
Efficient High water holding capacity, promoting prolonged soil moisture retention and improving soil structure and increases root growth.

Application
In large scale applications, FCHR80 can be applied through a belt spreader and incorporated into soil before planting or applied as a top dressing treatment to stimulate growth, retain moisture and encourage root development. In row crop applications, Quicken can be incorporated into soil before planting or applied as a side dress treatment to stimulate growth and build soil fertility. C-Wise can assist with specialised spreading machinery for hire or can arrange contract application in commercial crops and landscape applications.

SUGGESTED PROGRAMS
C-Wise’s soil amendment program is tailored for each farm and property, based on the needs of the land. We can help determine the best rates and application methods for your specific situation. Our experienced consultants will advise on a program that includes FCHR80, which acts as a fertiliser and soil improver. It is locally manufactured and helps to improve chemical, biological and physical processes in the soil. This helps to close the carbon cycle and encourages root growth.

We can create an end-to-end compost solution that will increase moisture retention while also encouraging plant growth. We can also provide specialised spreading machinery for hire or arrange contract applications in commercial crops and landscapes.

Talk to your C-Wise Consultant today about how FCHR80 can be added to your full agricultural cropping solution. We will take soil samples and test them, working with your agronomists to ensure the correct application rates are used to ensure optimal results.
